GTO Wizard for Hand Review

Today’s issue will be a bit different from the previous ones. Most notably, it will be a video, not a mostly textual article.

A New Module in the Solver Masterclass

I’m excited to announce that I’ve just released an additional module to The Solver Masterclass focused entirely on GTO Wizard.

The newest module is entitled How to Use GTO Wizard. It is available for $99. Alternatively, it is a part of The Solver Masterclass, along with the rest of my solver-focused content. This module has been, by far, the most requested content from Masterclass subscribers. All of the content to date was created in PioSolver and GTO+. However, with the breadth of functionality within GTO Wizard and the ability to access it via any web browser, it has received much (well-deserved) attention within the poker community.

This new module contains 9 videos and is broken up into two parts. The first half of the course (videos 1-4) is more demonstrative in nature and focuses on explaining the tool's functionality. The second half (videos 5-9) uses practical examples to show how to integrate GTO Wizard into your daily studies.

Today, I am bringing you Video 9 of the module as a part of this newsletter. In this video, I utilize GTO Wizard to analyze a hand that I recently played at a $2/$5 game at Motor City Casino in Detroit.

Utilizing GTO Wizard, I provide a thorough examination of the hand. I analyzed the actions that my opponent and I took through the lens of the equilibrium solution. I also made assumptions about both of our ranges and utilized the tool’s AI Solve and node-locking functionality to develop exploitative insights.

Looking Ahead to 2024

This will be the final newsletter of 2023. I plan to pick things back up in January with a mix of textual newsletters about a particular topic and video newsletters where I dive into a scenario using solvers.
